RESOLUTION NO. 93-290
AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT WORKSHEET (EAW) AND ALIGNMENT STUDY
SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD/PEONY LANE FROM VICKSBURG LANE TO HIGHWAY 55
CITY PROJECT NO. 316
WHEREAS, the City is considering the construction of Schmidt Lake Road west of
Vicksburg Lane; and
WHEREAS, the final roadway alignment needs to be established before
construction plans can be completed; and
WHEREAS, the City needs to compete a street alignment study for proposed
Schmidt Lake Road; and
WHEREAS, an EAW is required as part of the planning process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the preparation of an EAW and Alignment Study for
Schmidt Lake Road/Peony Lane from Vicksburg to Highway 55 is ordered.
FURTHER, that Strgar- Roscoe -Fausch, Inc. be designated as the engineer to
prepare the EAW/Alignment Study and the cost shall not exceed $45,000, not
including soil testing or a detailed archaeological survey.
