RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
COUNTY ROAD 24/MEDINA ROAD - PHASE I
CITY PROJECT NO. 031
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of Medina Rjad,
Garland Lane and Everest Court by the installation of bituminous streets with concrete
curb and gutter, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and watermain, bids were received, opened,
and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:

Hardrives, Inc. $324,596.40
Valley Paving, Inc. $335,213.10
Alber Construction, Inc. $337,523.00
C.S. McCrossan Construction, Inc. $348,560.90
WHEREAS, it appears that Latour Construction, Inc. of Maple Lake, MN is the lowest
responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with of Latour Construction, Inc. of Maple
Lake, N' in the name of the City of Plymouth for County Road 24/Medina
Road - Z ase I according to the plans and specifications therefore
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City
Clerk in the amount of the low bid of $298,258.90.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
