RESOLUTION 93-274
RESOLUTION RECONVEYING CERTAIN TAX FORFEIT LANDS BACK TO THE
STATE AND REQUESTING THE COUNTY BOARD TO IMPOSE CONDITIONS ON THE
SALE OF SAID TAX FORFEIT LANDS AND TO RESTRICT THE SALE TO OWNERS
OF ADJOINING LANDS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 282.01, Subdivision 1, the State of
Minnesota, as trustee under Minnesota Statutes, Section 281.25 on the 13th day of February,
1987, conveyed to the City of Plymouth, a governmental subdivision, certain lands, of which
the lands hereinafter described are a portion, to be used for an authorized public use; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth does not need all of the lands hereinafter described for the
public use for which it was conveyed and the City Council needs to authorize the proper
officers to convey a part of the same to the State of Minnesota, as such trustee; and,
WHEREAS, The City wishes to restrict and condition the sale of the lands hereinafter
described to bring them into conformance with City ordinances and land use goals
NOW, THERE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the City of Plymouth, as a governmental subdivision of the
State of Minnesota:
1. Convey the lands received on February 13, 1987 back to the State of Minnesota, as
trustee.
2. The County Board or the County Housing and Redevelopment Authority is hereby
requested to impose conditions on the sale of the following described lands, and is
further requested to sell such land only to owners of lands adjoining at a non-public
sale so that said lands will be combined, by platting, for tax and land use purposes and
will comply with City ordinances and regulations:
Description of Property and PID #:
That part of the west 102 feet of the North 220 feet of the Southwest one-
quarter (1/4) of Section 15, Township 118, Range 22; except roads.
PID # 15-118-22-32-0010
Reason For and Conditions to be Imposed:
Non -buildable, undersized lot to be sold to and combined with adjoining properties for
affordable single family housing.

None
Specials Levied Since Forfeiture:
$35.94
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to release the
aforementioned land for sale, subject to the County imposing the aforestated conditions
and the lien of special assessments on said lands.
Adopted by the City Council on May 17, 1993.
