RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
1993 STREET RECONSTRUCTION
CITY PROJECT NO. 301
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of streets in the
1993 Street Reconstruction Program, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according
to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Midwest Asphalt 1,280,003.10
N.W. Asphalt 1,282,178.59
C.S. McCrossan Construction 1,296,904.60
Valley Paving 1,341,159.36
WHEREAS, it appears that Hardrives, Inc. of Plymouth, MN is the lowest responsible
bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Hardrives, Inc. of Plymouth, MN in the
name of the City of Plymouth for the 1993 Street Reconstruction
Program according to the plans and specifications therefore approved
by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the
amount of the low bid of $1,201,662.76.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
3. The contract shall not be signed by the Mayor and City Clerk until
MnDOT Equal Employment Opportu,:ity Contract Management Office has
approved the contractor's Targeted Group Business Plan as required by
the specifications.
