HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1993-221CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 93-221 APPROVING RESIDENTIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT PLAN FOR ORRIN THOMPSON HOMES LOCATED SOUTHEAST OF COUNTY ROAD 9 AND DUNKIRK LANE (92115) WHEREAS, Orrin Thompson Homes, Inc. has requested approval of a Residential Planned Unit Development Concept Plan for the development of 40 single family detached lots and 86 twinhome units on 50.6 acres located southeast of County Road 9 and Dunkirk Lane; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called Public Hearing and has recommended approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Residential Planned Unit Development Concept Plan for Orrin Thompson Homes for the development of approximately 50.6 acres located southeast of County Road 9 and Dunkirk Lane, subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum, except Item 25. J. 2. The maximum number of dwelling units approved is 137. 3. This Concept Plan combined with Concept Plan "B" approved by Resolution 92-206 include: a. Plus 4 Bonus Points for overall project size, 110.0 acres b. A combined total of 259 units c. A combined density of 2.64 units/acre 4. This Concept Plan is contingent on an Amendment to the Park and Trail Element of the Comprehensive Plan to designate a replacement Community Playfield site.
