HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1993-217CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 93-217 AUTHORIZING THE USE OF $5,000 FROM THE CONTINGENCY FUNDS (101-190-899.66) TO CONTRACT WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA FOR GEESE RELOCATION IN 1993 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, understands the property damage and public nuisance that is caused by the over population of geese can be substantial. WHEREAS, one of the authorized means of control is the University of Minnesota relocation program. NOW, T IMMUWORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the City Manager may contract with the University of Minnesota for geese relocation in 1993, and further, authorizes the use of $5,000 from contingency funds for that purpose. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a minimum of two private sites will be designated for the program, and staff will evaluate whether more than two private sites should be designated. Adopted by the City Council on April 19, 1993. 0
