HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1993-147CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 93-147 INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS WHEREAS, in order to provide for orderly movement of traffic and provide for the safety of the public it is recommended that stop signs be placed at certain locations; and WHEREAS, new City streets have been recently constructed which required proper traffic control; and WHEREAS, a letter dated February 22, 1993 addressed to Dan Faulkner and signed by four residents in the Greentree West Subdivision have requested that the yield sign on 30th Avenue at Xanthus Lane be changed to a stop sign; and WHEREAS, verbal requests have been received from residents living along Yucca Lane north of County Road 47 for a stop sign on Wedgewood Lane where it "T's" into Yucca Lane. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That stop signs be installed at the following locations: 1. On 30th Avenue at Xanthus Lane 2. On Wedgewood Lane at Yucca Lane (north of County Road 47) 3. On 32nd Avenue at Zircon Lane 4. On 34th Avenue at Zircon Lane 5. On 43rd Avenue at Northwest Boulevard Adopted by the City Council on March 15, 1993
