RESOLUTION NO. 93-116
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT IN
LOT 4, BLOCK 2 - ZACHARY HILLS
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a portion of a drainage easement in Lot 4.
Block 2 - Zachary Hills Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for February 22.
1993 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of February 22, 1993; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by
mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on February 22, 1993 to inform any and
all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a portion of a drainage easement in
Lot 4, Block 2 - Zachary Hills; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easement is not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following portion of a drainage easement in Lot 4, Block 2 -
Zachary Hills be vacated:
A portion of the drainage easement located within the following described
line: Cor:�encing at the southwest corner of Lot 4, Block 2, Zachary Hills,
according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, MN; thence
northeasterly along the west property line of said above described property
a distance of 85.00 feet; thence deflecting to the right 90 degrees 00
minutes 00 seconds a distance of 34.00 feet to the actual point of beginning
of the line to be described; thence deflecting to the left 90 degrees 00
minutes 00 seconds a distance of 6.00 feet; thence deflecting to the right
90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds a distance of 16.00 feet; thence deflecting
to the right 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds a distance of 6.00 feet;
thence deflecting to the right 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds a distance
of 16.00 feet to the point of beginning and there terminating.
