CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 93-88
REQUESTING MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO
CONDUCT SPEED ZONING STUDY
PINEVIEW LANE FROM NORTHWEST BOULEVARD TO SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD
WHEREAS, traffic continues to increase on Pineview Lane from Northwest
Boulevard to Schmidt Lake Road due to adjacent developments accessing
Pineview Lane and also due to access from Bass Lake Playfield; and
WHEREAS, the safe and reasonable speed must now be determined by the
Minnesota Department of Transportation in accordance with State Law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City request the Minnesota Department of
Transportation to undertake an engineering study to determine the safe
and reasonable speed on the following road:
Pineview Lane from Northwest Boulevard to Schmidt Lake Road
Adopted by the City Council on February 8, 1993
