RESOLUTION NO. 93-64
APPROVING SETTING PARK DEDICATION FEES FOR 1993
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has a policy setting forth park dedication fees for residential
and commercial/industrial property; and
WHEREAS, the City Assessor has concluded that undeveloped residential property is selling
for approximately $25,000 per acre, and undeveloped commercial/industrial property for
approximately $60,000 per acre; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended that a park dedication fee
of $910 per dwelling unit be set for residential property and that a fee of $3,700 per acre be
used for commercial/industrial property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said recommendation and finds revision of this
recommendation to be appropriate, based on the assessor's undeveloped land value estimates
and the park dedication fees in comparable communities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the 1993 park fees shall be $885 per residential
dwelling unit and $3,600 per acre for commercial/industrial property effective March 1, 1993.
