HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1993-052CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 93-52 APPROVING WETLAND MITIGATION PLAN GEM ENTERPRISE (PLYMOUTH SHOPPING CENTER) WHEREAS, GEM Enterprise, the owner of the Plymouth Shopping Center, proposes to fill wetlands for future commercial development. WHEREAS, there are no reasonable alternatives for the location of the future frontage road and construction of commercial lots; and WHEREAS, a Mitigation Plan was prepared replacing the wetlands at 1:1 ratio, which is in the minimum required by the Wetland Conservation Act of 1991; and WHEREAS, the Mitigation Plan meet the requirements of the wetland act. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Finding of Fact, approving the filling of wetlands and the Mitigation Plan for wetland restoration in the Plymouth Shopping Center property. Adopted by the City Council on January 25, 1993.
