RESOLUTION NO. 93-47
APPROVING 1993 STREET TREE TRIMMING CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the Forestry Division will act on 1993 Street Tree Trimming Proposal to
be carried out on City owned right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with City bid, specifications were proposed and distributed
and bid proposals were received and opened on January 22, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the following contractors received bid specifications, and two bids were
received by the City:
Asplundh Tree Expert Co. 5%
$45/Hour
Preferred Tree Service No Bond
$64/Hour
Golden Leaf Tree Service
No Bid
Tall Timbers
No Bid
Woodsman Tree Service
No Bid
AND, WHEREAS, the bid of Asplundh Tree Expert Company is in conformance with
City specifications for routine maintenance trimming of street trees and therefore
Asplundh Tree declared the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYIIIOUTH, NIINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, accept
the proposal of Asplundh Tree Expert in the line itemed amount of $20,000; and
FURTHER, that funds for this proposal are authorized from Account No.
101-125-810.24.
Adopted by the City Council on January 25, 1993.
