HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1993-013CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 93-13 REIMBURSING DEVELOPER FOR REQUIRED 16 INCH TRUNK WATERMAIN CONSTRUCTION GOLFVIEW ESTATES ADDITION (91047) WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and Lowry Hill Development Company have entered into a development contract dated February 10, 1992 and revised February 24, 1992 for the development of Golfview Estates Addition; and WHEREAS, as part of this development, the developer was required to construct a 16 inch watermain in Holly Lane west of the Golfview Estates Addition in order to conform with the City of Plymouth's Water Distribution Plan; and WHEREAS, in accordance with City policy, the developer installed the required 16 inch watermain in Holly Lane adjacent to the Golfview Estates Addition; and WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City of Plymouth to reimburse developers for required watermain construction upon completion in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and acceptance for continual maintenance by the City; and WHEREAS, this amounts to $25,614.40 including engineering fees. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the developer, Lowry Hill Development company, is to be reimbursed in the amount of $25,614.40 for the required 16 inch watermain construction based on the alignment in the construction plans and in accordance with City policy. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funds be allocated from the Trunk Water Fund. Adopted by the City Council on January 4, 1993.
