HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-837CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the lath day of December , 19_896 The following members were present: Risk_ Zitur. Ricker, Vssiliou, Schneider The following members were absent: None Council -member Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89- 837 CITY MAMMER'S LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING WHEREAS, the City Council and the City Manager have previously entered into a Letter of Understanding with respect to his employment; and WHEREAS, the City Council directed that the City Manager prepare proposed revisions in said Letter of Understanding; and WHEREAS, the City Manager in his report to the City Council dated December 8, submitted a revised Letter of Understanding for City Council review and comment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said revised Letter of Understanding. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Letter of Understanding between the City Council and the City Manager, as submitted to the City Council in the City Manager's memorandum of December 8, being the same, is hereby approved and ratified providing, however, that the City Manager's salary shall be increased from $82,700 to $86,800 per year commencing January 1, 1990; and FURTHER, that the Mayor be authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the City Council. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by rnoinrilmamhar Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Sisk, Zitur, Ricker, Schneider The following voted against or abstained: Vasiliou Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
