HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-835CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the8th day of December 1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers , Vasiliou Ricker Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmpmhpr Sink introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-835 RECEIVE BIENNIAL UPDATE OF PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT REPORT ORDER PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT FOR 1990 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM CITY PROJECT NO. 001 WHEREAS, the City Council has requested that a biennial update to the Pavement Management Program be prepared; and WHEREAS, the City's Consulting Engineer, S. E. H., has prepared this updated biennial report; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to undertake an Engineering Preliminary Report to determine the work required on each street in the areas within the 1990 program as proposed in the biennial update of the Pavement Management Report; rNOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That Short -Elliott -Hendrickson, Inc. be designated as the Consulting Engineer for the improvements and that they are instructed to prepare a Preliminary Engineering Report with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvements are feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by IrmineilmomhPr Ritur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Maltor Shn id r, Councilmemhera Vasilirnu_ Ricker_ Zitur alld Sig The following voted against or abstained: _None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
