• Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the _ 8 day of December ,
1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider Councilmembers ,
Vasiliou Ricker Zirur. and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89-822
DEFERRED ASSESSMENTS
MOUNT OLIVET LUTHERAN CHURCH
PIN 14-118-22-23-0006
WHEREAS, the Mount Olivet Lutheran Church has requested a deferral of assessments for
the historic church property located on the north side of Old County Road 9, west of
Larch Lane (PIN 14-118-22-23-0006), and
WHEREAS, the church will have limited use of the City's public utility system; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considers it a unique circumstance for their connection to
the sanitary sewer and water system; and
WHEREAS, in order for the property to be restored, it is in the interest of the City to
sodefer the special assessments for a period of time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following water lateral charges and area assessments be deferred:
PIN 14-118-22-23-0006 $5,031.30
FURTHER, that the deferred assessments are subject to the following conditions:
1. The deferral is for five (5) years with no interest accumulating on the
deferred assessments.
2. If the assessments have not been paid at the end of five (5) years, the
assessments will be levied over a period of five (5) years at the then
prevailing interest rate.
3. The five (5) year deferral shall begin at the date of connection to either
the City sanitary sewer or water system.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Counci-lmember 7itur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou„ Ricker. Zirur, and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
