HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-821City of Plymouth Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of December , 19$2 The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasil ou RirkPr, Zit -,r and Sigh The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 89-821 APPROVING THE CHANGE IN CLOSING TIME AT PARKER'S LAKE PARK FROM 10:00 P.M. TO 11:00 P.M. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plymouth may change the hours of closing at its city parks and beaches from time to time: and, WHEREAS, the Public Safety Director and the Park and Recreation Director have recommended that the closing of Parkers Lake Park be at 11 p.m.; and, WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the public at large and persons who have a rental agreement for the Parker's Lake pavilion; NOW, THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the closing time at Parker's Lake Park is amended from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.; and FURTHER, be it resolved that the appropriate signing be erected at the entrance to Parker's Lake Park designating a 11 p.m. closing time. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember zitur and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasilint, _ Ri rkPr _ 74f-- -A 4-1. The following voted against or abstained Nana Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
