HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-820CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of December 1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, ouncilmembers Vasillou, Ricker, Zirur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-820 APPROVING REVISIONS TO CITY COUNCIL POLICIES ON INSURANCE PROGRAM, ROTATION OF BANKS, AND BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore established various policies in an effort to communicate more effectively its position with respect to issues not addressed by City Code; and WHEREAS, the City Council has directed that such policies be maintained by the staff in an accurate and up-to-date fashion; and WHEREAS, in a report dated December 14, 1989, various revisions have been recommended to maintain the insurance policy, bank rotation policy, and City building and grounds maintenance policy in an up-to-date fashion. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, adopt a policy relating to the City's Insurance program, a policy concerning rotation of banks, and a policy relating to City building and grounds maintenance, dated December 18, 1989; and FURTHER, the City Clerk is hereby directed to incorporate the revised policies in the Council's policy notebook and distribute the same. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker. Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
