HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-817CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day of D rc+mh , 1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None CouncilmembAr Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89- 817 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF 49TH AVENUE IN SKY LINE HILLS UNIT NO. 1 WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Sandy Lester has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of 49th Avenue adjacent to her property; and WHEREAS, the City staff has added 49th Avenue from the west property line of Lot 5, Block 3 Sky Line Hills Unit No. 1 west to Wellington Lane the proposed vacation is described as follows: That part of 49th Avenue as originally laid out and platted in the plat of Sky Line Hills Unit No. 1 between Wellington Lane and the east plat line of Sky Line Hills Unit No. 1 and adjacent to Lots 1 and 5, Block 3 Sky Line Bills Unit No. 1. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of January 22, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by rn in i m mhe 1 , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
