HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-794CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day of December 1989. The following members were present: Sisk, Zitur, Ricker, Vasiliou, Schneider The following members were absent: None Council.member Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89- 794 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT OUTLOT E CARLSON CENTER SECOND ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain utility and drainage easements in Outlot E, Carlson Center Second Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for December 18, 1989 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of December 18, 1989; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on December 18, 1989 to inform any and ioall interested parties relevant to the vacation of certain utility and drainage easements in Outlot E, Carlson Center Second Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following utility and drainage easements be vacated: The 10 foot drainage and utility easements lying southerly of and adjacent to the northerly line of Out -lot E Carlson Center Second Addition according to the recorded plat theiPof, Oinnepin County Minnesota. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by rnzinrilmamh r 7it-ur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Risk, Zitur. Ricker, Vasiliou, Schneider The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
