Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th day of
December ,1989.. The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
rhe following members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou '

RESOLUTION NO. 89-777
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
A DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT
LOT 2, BLOCK 1, CARLSON COMPANIES 4TH ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, the owner of Lot 2, Block 1, Carlson
Companies 4th Addition has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the
following drainage and utility easement within Lot 2, Block 1, Carlson
Companies 4th Addition:
That part of the utility and drainage easement over, under, and across Lot 2,
Block 1, Carlson Companies 4th Addition as said easement is delineated on said
plat and described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the west line of said Lot 2 said point
being the northwest corner of the underlying Lot 3, Block 1,
Carlson Companies 2nd Addition; thence North 0 degrees, 21
minutes, 38 seconds West a distance of 40.00 feet; thence North 70
degrees, 41 minutes, 38 seconds East a distance of 483.67 feet;
thence North 89 degrees, 22 minutes, 39 seconds East a distance of
230.00 feet a point on the east line of said Lot 2 distant 34.80
feet south of the northeast corner of said Lot 2; thence South 0
degrees, 37 minutes, 21 seconds East along said east line a
distance of 25.00 feet; thence South 89 degrees, 22 minutes, 39
seconds west a distance of 130.00 feet; thence south 49 degrees,
31 minutes, 37 seconds west a distance of 182.36 feet to the west
line of the east 270.00 feet of said Lot 2; thence South 0
degrees, 37 minutes, 21 seconds East along said west line to the
south line of said Lot 2; thence westerly along said south line to
the west line of said Lot 2; thence north 0 degrees, 21 minutes,
38 seconds west along said west line to the north line of the
south 300.00 feet of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 34, Township 118, Range 22; thence North 89
degrees, 14 minutes, 49 seconds East along said north line a
distance of 389.69 feet to the west line of the east 300.00 feet
of said Lot 2; thence North 0 degrees, 37 minutes, 21 seconds west
along said west line to a line 20.00 feet southeast and parallel
to a line bearing North 70 degrees, 41 minutes, 38 seconds East
from a point on the west line of said Lot 2 distant 40.00 feet
north of the point of beginning; thence South 70 degrees, 41

minutes, 38 ueconds West a distance of 388.74 feet; thence south 0
degrees, 21 minutes, 38 seconds East a distance of 45.72 feet;
thence South 89 degrees 38 minutes, 22 seconds West a distance of
20.00 feet to the west line of said Lot 2; thence North 0 degrees,
21 minutes, 38 seconds West along said west line a distance of
20.00 feet to the point of beginning.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same
to be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of
January 2, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center,
3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said
petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said
hearing as provided by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schn id r, Counrrilinem ers RiCkoi�
Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: wnno
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
