HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-766CITY OF PLYirDfTiH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of November 1989. The following were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent:_ None Councilmember Sisk intros the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOUYrIGN NO.89-766 CALLING FOR PUELIC HEARING ON PROPOSED M DEXaliQUENT P 71' SPRINKLING BAN VI•1 • • S WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on November 20, 1989 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for certain charges for the delinquent water sprinkling ban violations for parcels within the City as provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFIORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, N32*ZSO1rA: 1. A public hearing shall be held on the 18th day of December, 1988 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such charges will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total amount of the assessment. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker. Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
