HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-762CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of Novemher , 1989. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-762 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT LOT 2, BLOCK 2 HERITAGE WEST ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, the owner of Lot 2, Block 2, Heritage West Addition has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following drainage and utility easements within Lot 2, Block 2, Heritage West Addition: That part of the drainage and utility easement in Lot 2, Block 2, Heritage West Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota described as follows: Beginning at a point on the East line of the West 10.00 feet of said Lot 2 a distance of 70.37 feet North of the South line of said Lot 2 as measured along said East line of the West 10.00 feet of Lot 2; thence northerly along said East line of the West 10.00 feet of Lot 2 a distance of 31.50 feet; thence deflecting to the left 90 degrees a distance of 0.50 feet; thence deflecting to the left 90 degrees a distance of 31.50 feet; thence deflecting to the left 90 degrees a distance of 0.50 feet to the poirE:: of beginning. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of January 2, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote beingg taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
