HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-745CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day Of November, 19$x„ The following members were present: Mayor- Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou Ricker, iter and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 89- 745 APPROVING AMENDED SITE PLAN/CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND ZONING ORDINANCE VARIANCE FOR INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT #284 (WAYZATA) (89094) WHEREAS, Independent School District #284 (Wayzata) has requested approval of an amended Site Plan/Conditional Use Permit and Zoning Ordinance variance to construct a press box on the high school athletic facility in excess of the permitted height for an accessory structure at 305 Vicksburg Lane; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it hereby does approve the request for Independent School District #284 (Wayzata) for an amended Site Plan/Conditional Use Permit and variance to construct a press box on the high school athletic facility located at 305 Vicksburg Lane, subject to the following conditions: 1. Submission of required financial guarantee and Site Performance Agreement for completion of site improvements. 2. No additional signage is approved. 3. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. 4. An 8-1/2 x 11 inch "As Built" Fire Protection Plan shall be submitted prior to the release or reduction of any site improvement bonds per City Policy. 5. All conditions of previous Site Plan and Conditional Use Permit approvals for this site are incorporated as applicable. Expiration for the portable classroom Conditional Use Permit remains June 1, 1990. (see next page) Resolution No. 89-745 Page Two File 89094 6. A variance is hereby approved to permit the maximum height of the press box to be 19 feet versus the Ordiance standard of 15 feet for accessory structures based on the finding that the petition meets the standards for a variance specified by the Zoning Ordinance. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: mayor Schneider, Councilmembers The following voted against or abstained_ Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
