Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of
November , 1989. The following members were present: ,
Mayor. Schneider, rnnncilmAmhars Vasi1iou, Ricker- Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: _None
RESOLUTION NO. 89-712
REQUESTING MN DOT
CONDUCT SPEED STUDY
WHEREAS, 10th Avenue from South Shore Drive east to near Nathan Lane, is a
newly constructed street which requires that a speed study be conducted to
establish the proper speed limit; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation will, upon request from local
authorities, conduct an engineering and traffic study to ascertain a safe and
reasonable speed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, that the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation
undertake a traffic engineering study on 10th Avenue from South Shore Drive to
Nathan Lane.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilrnembers Vasi iou, Ricker, ,
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
