Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rpg„jar meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of November
1989. The following members were present: .tityor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou ,
Ricker. Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89-688
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
EMERGENCY VEHICLES INGRESS AND EGRESS EASEMENT
PARKERS LAKE NORTH 3RD ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate an Emergency Vehicles Ingress and Egress
easement, Parkers Lake North 3rd Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for November 6,
1989 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of November 6, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on November 6, 1989 to inform any and
all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said Ingress and Egress easement;
and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easement was not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following Ingress and Egress easement be vacated:
A 20.00 foot wide easement for emergency vehicles for ingress and egress
over part of Outlot A, Lot 6, Block 2, and Lot 1, Block 3, all in Parkers
Lake North 3rd Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin
County, Minnesota. The centerline of said easement is described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of said Outlot A; thence South 71 degrees
20 minutes 35 seconds West assumed basis for bearings, 362.75 feet along the
southerly line of said Outlot A to the point of beginning of the line to be
described; thence North 18 degrees 39 minutes 25 seconds West 39.17 feet;
thence North 28 degrees 08 minutes 13 seconds West 66.79 feet; thence
northwesterly, northerly and northeasterly 51.46 feet along a tangential
curve concave to the East, radius 51.00 feet, central angle 57 degrees 48
minutes, 29 seconds; thence North 29 degrees 40 minutes 16 seconds East
107.57 feet to the northeasterly line of said Outlot A also being the
westerly right-of-way of Terraceview Lane as shown on said plat of Parkers
Lake North 3rd Addition and said line there terminating. The sidelines of
said 20.00 foot easement are to be prolonged or shortened to begin on said
southerly line of Outlot A and end on said westerly line of said Terraceview
Lane.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
�Councilmember Zitur and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained:
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed
None
and adopted.
