Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day
of October , 1989. The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following munbers were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESGUYrION NO. 89-684
AUT• MZIIN OF DRUG SEIZURE FUNDS
FUR DRUG AMSE RESIS1X= MXr.ATICN ( DARE )
, the City has been accumulating funds from various drug seizures; and
WHEREAS, these funds may be appropriately expended for additional crime
prevention; and
WHEREAS, City Council desires to provide funding for a drug abuse resistance
education (DARE) program; and
WREREAS, the expenditure of the drug seizure funds for the DARE program would
be an appropriate expenditure;
NOW, MEREFOPZ, BE IT ICY MMMVED BY THE CITY COt24CIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYM)M, MINNESOTA,; that expenditures for the DARE podogram be charged to the
City Account number 205-205-757.00-093-000.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Sisk . and upon Vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Vasiliou. Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
