Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City .:ouncil of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of October , 1989.
The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou,
Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89-681
ADOPTING AN ADVERTISING POLICY FOR CITY PUBLICATIONS
WHEREAS, the City Council has directed that City publication costs be recouped through
the sales of advertisements; and
WHEREAS, advertisements have been sold in the Community Information Booklet and
Plymouth on Parade newsletter; and
WHEREAS, a policy has been prepared dated October 16, 1989, and discussed by the City
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, adopt a policy regulating the
advertisements in City publications dated October 16, 1989; and
FURTHER, directs that City Manager to implement said pcli:cy with respect to City
publications.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor chneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, _
Ricker. Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
