Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day of
nrteher , 1989. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89-667
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
EMERGENCY VEHICLES INGRESS AND EGRESS EASEMENT
PARKERS LAKE NORTH 3RD ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Mr. Keith E. Dahl, on behalf of Laukka-
Williams Parkers Lake, has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the
following emergency vehicles ingress egress easement:
A 20.00 foot wide easement for emergency vehicles for ingress and
egress over part of Outlot A, Lot 6, Block 2, and Lot 1, Block 3,
all in Parkers Lake North 3rd Addition, according to the recorded
plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The centerline of said
easement is described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of said Outlot A; thence South
71 degrees 20 minutes 35 seconds West assumed basis for bearings,
362.75 feet along the southerly line of said Outlot A to the point
of beginning of the line to be described; thence North 18 degrees
39 minutes 25 seconds West 39.17 feet; thence North 28 degrees 08
minutes 13 seconds West 66.79 feet; thence northwesterly,
northerly and northeasterly 51.46 feet along a tangential curve
concave to the East, radius 51.00 feet, central angle 57 degrees
48 minutes, 29 seconds; thence North 29 degrees 40 minutes 16
seconds East 107.57 feet to the northeasterly line of said Outlot
A also beicid the westerly right-of-way of Terraceview Lane as
shown on srai.d plat of Parkers Lake North 3rd Addition and said
line there terminating. The sidelines of said 20.00 foot easement
are to be prolonged or shortened to begin on said southerly line
of Outlot A and end on said westerly line of said Terraceview
Lane.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same
to be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of
November 6, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center,
3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said
petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said
hearing as provided by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou,
Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: Nnnp
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
