Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day
of October, 19_19 The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk
moved its adoption:
introduced the following Resolution and
RESOLUTION 89- 661
RESOLUTION AMENDING POLICY RESOLUTION 89-91 ON REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF SKETCH
PLANS FOR PROPOSED DEVELOPMENTS INVOLVING LAND NOT YET SERVED BY PUBLIC
SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Policy Resolution 89-91 on the review and
approval of Sketch Plans for proposed development involving land not yet
served by public services on February 6, 1989; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has also been reviewing modifications and changes to
the City's Land Use Guide Plan and other elements of the Comprehensive Plan;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the merits of adopting an Interim
Ordinance establishing a moratorium while certain studies are done to assist
in the evaluation of proposed changes to the Comprehensive Plan and its
Elements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered input from developers and others
regarding the desirability to submit Sketch Plans for property than may be
included in the study area constrained by an Interim Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does adopt amendment to Policy
Resolution 89-91 as contained in the staff memorandum dated October 12, 1989.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resoluion was duly seconded
by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: _Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers
Vasxilinn- irkpr- Zitnr and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
