HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-649CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of October , 1989 The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, CQuncilmembers Sisk. Zitur. Vasiliou. and Ricker The following members were absent: None _ Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 89-649 DECLARING FINDING OF "NO NEED" FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT (EIS) BASED UPON THE REVIEW OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT WORKSHEET (EAW) DATED AUGUST 10, 1989, FOR ROCKFORD ROAD PLAZA PROPOSED BY RYAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OF MINNESOTA (89014) (MPUD 89-2) WHEREAS, the City Council approved the MPUD Preliminary Plat/Plan for property at the northeast corner of I-494 and County Road 9 for Ryan Construction Company of Minnesota under Resolution 89-464 on August 21, 1989; and, WHEREAS, pursuant to the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board (EQB) Rule Number 4410.4300, Subpart 14 B(3), the Environmental Review Process, the City of Plymouth, as the Responsible Governmental Unit, submitted an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for the development on August 11, 1989; and, WHEREAS, the 30 -day review comment period expired on September 20, 1989, and all comments and recommendations received from reviewing agencies and other interested parties have been considered; and, WHEREAS, it has been determined that the proposed development does not present a potential for significant environmental impacts; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY 1HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that is should and hereby does make a negative declaration on the need for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed development known as Rockford Road Plaza for Ryan Construction Company of Minnesota. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmembers Sisk, Zitur. Vasiliou. Ricker and Mayor Schneider The following voted against or abstained None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
