Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day
of october 19JO_ The following members were present:
_Mayor Schneider Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
rounrilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 89-639
APPROVING SKETCH PLAN FOR U.S. HOME CORPORTION - THOMPSON LAND DEVELOPMENT
DIVISION FOR THE "MITCHELL-PEARSON PROPERTY" (89059)
WHEREAS, U.S. Home Corporation has requested approval of a Sketch Plan for the
development of lots on approximately 116 acres located in the southeast
quadrant of Brockton Lane and Medina Road; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called
Public Informational Hearing and has recommended approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Sketch Plan
for U.S. Home Corporation for a development to be knows as Mitchell -Pearson
Property consisting of 116 acres located in the southeast quadrant of Brockton
Lane and Medina Road, subject to the following conditions:
1. Staging of the development shall be in accordance with utility
availability as approved by the City Engineer.
2. Future plat/plan design shall provide for private common open space equal
to at least 10 percent of net project area.
3. This approval is for a sketch plan QUb, consistent with City Council
Policy 89-91. No approval of or substitute for any portion of RPUD
concept plan for these parcels is intended or implied by this action. The
City Council acceptance of this sketch plan shall not be deemed to
constitute approval of formal variances or modifications, including
residential development density.
4. Street design shall be consistent with the memorandum of the Public Works
Director of August 17, 1989.

5. The Sketch Plan hereby approved is dated August 29, 1989, received by the
City September 1, 1989.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
bcouncilaember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Vsoiliou. Riker_ Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
