RESOLUTION 89-635
RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF $5,000 OF YEAR XV COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
FUNDS TO NORTHWEST HENNEPIN HUMAN SERVICES COUNCIL FOR THE RUNAWAY YOUTH
INITIATIVE
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth at a
public hearing on March 23, 1989, recommended approval of $5,000 of Year XV
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to Northwest Hennepin Human Services
Council (NWHHSC) for a runaway youth initiative planning study subject to
NWHHSC's ability to raise additional funds for the study by July 1, 1989; and,
WHEREAS, NWHHSC has now raised additional funds by the deadline;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, to recommend to the City Council that
NWHHSC be granted $5,000 from Year XV CDBG Program funds subject to the county
signing its subrecipient agreement and NWHHSC signing a third party agreement
with the City of Plymouth.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
