HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-631CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of October , 1989. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider Councilmembers Vasiliou Ricker Zitur and Sisk , The following members were absent: None CouncilmeMber Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption RESOLUTION NO. 89-631 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WEST MEDICINE LAKE DRIVE TRUNK SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO. 905 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on April 3, 1989, and a resolution passed by the Council on September 25, 1989, the City's Consulting Engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the extension of the City's trunk sanitary sewer and watermain and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published once shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by rhe City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 1989, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center Building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by f'nunrilmemher Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: mayor Schneider Councilmembgrs Vasiliou. Ricker. , Zftur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
