HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-630CITY OF PLYMOUTH „Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of October , 1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers , Vasiliou. Ricker. Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89.630 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND PARKERS LAKL CORPORATE CENTER (88089) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated October 4, 1988, United Properties Development Company, developer of Parkers Lake Corporate Center Addition (88089), has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: Street Construction $ 27,500 $ *3,000 Sanitary Sewer 9,400 (1) 1,000 Watermain 21,125 (1) 1,000 Storm Sewer 10,198 (1) 1,000 Boulevard and Drainage Swale Sod 2,500 2,500 Pond or Ditch Construction -0- -0- Street Signs 150 -0- Site Grading and Drainage Improvements 16,000 1,600 Park and Trail Improvements -0- -0- Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts 10,425 1,212 TOTAL $ 97,298 $ 11,312 * For construction of required temporary cul-de-sac (1) For items on punch list dated September 21, 1989 prepared by Ken Johnson That the letter of credit required for the above items be reduced as detailed above from $97,298 to $11,312 to reflect the completed work. I %t h Resolution No. 89-630 Page Two FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the bonding requirements for the following items per Section 8.1 of the approved development contract be reduced as follows: ITEM Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning Cash: Letter of Credit: ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT $1,000 $1,000 $12,200 $2,200 FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, and street construction is accepted for continual maintenance as of October 2, 1989, subject to the One Year Guarantee by the Developer.
