HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-585CITY OF PLYNDuni Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, ak regular ing of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 25th day of RaptPmhPr 1989. The following were present: Mavor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker and Zitur The following members were absent: Councilmember Sisk Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: •4�: •: • • WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared proposed 1990 budgets for fiscal year camrencing Jamuiry 1, 1990 based upon the requirements of the 1988 Tax Law; NOW, THERESM, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO(1NCIL OF THE CITY OF PLY1rDIM, MnMESOIA, that the 1990 proposed operating budgets for the following funds are hereby preliminary approved: General Fund Budget $ 10,557,100 Recreation Fund Budget 553,900 Forestry Fund Budget 2558800 Water Fund Budget 21443,600 Sewer Fund Budget 3,520,900 Central Equipment Fund Budget 1,523,100 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, (i) that the City Council concurs on the 1990 Plymouth Housing and Redwelopnent Authority budget in the amount of $614,000, (ii) that this proposed operating budget resolution and the aaoaei proposed tax levies contained in Resolution No. 586 are being subRitted by the City in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 275.065 and other applicable law in effect on this date; (iii) that the Resolutions represent a good faith effort by the City to substantially cawly with applicable law and the guidance supplied by the Ommissioner of Revenue on June 23, 1969; and (iv) that the City Council declares its intent to telae all necessary actions legally pmmdssi.ble to conform with the laws, rulings, and regulations now or hereafter applicable to the submission and approval of the City's budget and tax levies both proposed and final. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by couneilmember Vasiliou and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Counc lmembers Vasiliou, Ricker The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
