Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 11th day of
September , 1989. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89-528
AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT
HIGHWAY 55 AND GOLDENROD LANE, INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 704
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Plymouth enter into an agreement with the
State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes,
to wit:
To provide for payment by the State to the City of the State's
share of the cost of intersection improvements to be performed at
the intersection of Trunk Highway No. 55 and Goldenrod Lane in
accordance with plans designated by the City as City Project No.
704 and by the State as State Project No. 2723-82 (T.H. 55-188).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager be and hereby are
authorized to execute such agreement, and thereby assume for and on behalf of
the City all of the contractual obligations contained therein.
FURTHER that additional funding for the project in the amoant of $6,400 be
provided from the City M.S.A. Fund.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou. ,
Ricker. Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
