Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 11th day of
September , 1989. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker, Zitur and Sick ,
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89-526
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT
WEST MEDICINE LAKE DRIVE
TRUNK SANITARY SEWER
CITY PROJECT NO. 905
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE City Council of Plymouth, Minnesota:
1. A certain petition submitted by Ryan Construction Company
requesting the extension of a trunk sanitary sewer to approximately
55 feet south of a north plat line of proposed Rockford Plaza and
west along proposed 42nd Avenue 800 feet and north to the north
plat line and all necessary appurtenances filed with the Council on
September 11, 1989 is hereby declared to be signed by the required
percentage of owners and property affected thereby. This
declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota State Statutes,
Sections 429.035.
2. The petitioner has waived their right to a public improvement
hearing and special assessment hearing on this project.
3. The petition is hereby referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik,
Inc. and they are instructed to report to the Council with all
convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to
whether the proposed extension of sanitary sewer is feasible and as
to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction
with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the
improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Cguncilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers V nilirni_ RirkPr_ ,
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
