HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-513CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 11th day of September , 1989. The following members were present: , Mavor Schneider, Couucilmembers Vasiliov Ricker. Zitur and Risk, The following members were absent: None Council_member Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89- 513 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 4 AND FINAL WELL NO. 10 AND STEEPLECHASE 7TH ADDITION PROJECT NO. 814 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Glendale Contracting, Inc., as contractor, have entered into an agreement for Well No. 10 and Steeplechase 7th Addition, City Project No. 814 said agreement being dated April 4, 1989; and WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. That the original contract amount was $82,555.00, one change order adding $3,850.00 was approved, and the value of the work to date in $84,859.00. 2. That the work performed by the Contractor for Well No. 10 and Steeplechase 7th Addition and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 4 and Final in the amount of $8,089.50 to Glendale Contracting, Inc. for the Well No. 10 and Steeplechase 7th Addition is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by _ rnsinCJ 1Qi 1 tail , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker. , Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
