Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the lith day
of SFS er19B2 The following members were present:

The following members were absent: None
Cenneilmrzmher Van lion introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 89-505
APPROVING AMENDED MPUD PRELIMINARY PLAN/CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND FINAL PLAN
FOR A MASTER SIGN PLAN (89046) (MPUD 81-1)
WHEREAS, Sign Consultants has requested an amended MPUD Preliminary
Plan/Conditional Use Permit and Final Plan for a master sign plan of the
Northwest Business Campus in the northeast quadrant of I-494 and Highway 55.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called
Public Hearing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it hereby does approve the request for Sign
Consultants for an amended MPUD Preliminary Plan/Conditional Use Permit and
Final Plan for master sign plan of the Northwest Business Campus in the
northeast quadrant of I-494 and Highway 55, subject to the following
conditions:
1. To the extent that specific standards are not addressed by the master
plan, or as conditions to approval, the standards of the Zoning Ordinance
shall apply.
2. All directional signage, off site and on site, shall maintain a 10 foot
setback from the property line.
3. PUD related sales/leasing signage shall be limited to three (3) signs of
dimensions consistent with the master signage plan.
4. Individual site leasing/sales signs shall be limited to 16 square feet of
sign area.

5. The covenants regarding the ownership and perpetual maintenance of common
facilities within the MPUD shall be reviewed by the City Attorney and
amended by the applicant where required to assure the common ownership
and perpetual maintenance responsibility for the signage and sculpture
not site specific herein approved.
6. N4 approval is hereby granted for a sculQture as proposed by the
application.
7. All public traffic control signs shall be specifically approved by the
appropriate governing agency as to design and location.
8. This approval shall be effective only after approval and publication of a
Zoning Ordinance amendment that incorporates signs as a Planned Unit
Development design element.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Zitur 'and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: mayor Schneider. CouncilmemherG
Vasiliou. Ricker. Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
