HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-491CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, are ar meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 11th day of September , 1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider Coun lmember Vasiliou , Rirkpr_ Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None rmmrilmamhPr Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89- 491 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS OUTLOT A - DEERHAVEN SECOND ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain utility and drainage easements in Outlot A, Deerhaven Second Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for September 11, 1989, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of September 11, 1989; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on September 11, 1989 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of certain utility and drainage easements in Outlot A, Deerhaven Second Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following utility and drainage easements be vacated: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Outlot A, Deerhaven Second Addition, thence South 89 degrees 37 minutes 50 seconds West, a distance of 52.97 feet, thence North 89 degrees 37 minutes 50 seconds East a distance of 7.86 feet, thence South 0 degrees 22 minutes 10 seconds East a distance of 52.93 feet to the point of beginning. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk , The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
