Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 11th day of September ,
1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou ,
Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89-489
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS AND
DRAINAGE EASEMENTS FOR PONDING IN
OUTLOT B - NORTHWEST BUSINESS CAMPUS ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain drainage and utility easements and
drainage easements for ponding in Northwest Business Campus Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for September 11,
1989, in accordance with Minnesota St�-i-utes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of September 11, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on September 11, 1989, to inform any and
all interested parties relevant to the vacation of certain drainage and utility and
drainage easements for ponding in Northwest Business Campus Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following drainage and utility eaesments and drainage easements
for ponding purposes be vacated:
A strip of land 20.00 feet in width over and across that part of Outlot B,
Northwest Business Campus, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin
County, Minnesota being in the South 1/3 of the Northwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 118, Range 22, said Hennepin
County. The centerline of said strip of land is described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Northwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing of South 89 degrees 41
minutes 45 seconds East, along the North line of said Northwest Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter, a distance of 900.00 feet; thence South 16
degrees 32 minutes 30 seconds East a distance of 610.90 feet; thence
South 5 degrees 09 minutes 30 seconds East a distance of 291.27 feet to
the North line of said South 1/3 of the Northwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter and the point of beginning of the centerline to be
described; thence continuing South 5 degrees 09 minutes 30 seconds East
a distance of 203.84 feet; thence South 51 degrees 48 minutes 59 seconds
East a distance of 252.46 feet to the East line of said Northwest
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and there terminating.
The side lines of said 20.00 foot strip of land shall be prolonged or
shortened to terminate on said East line and said North line.

County, Minnesota being in the South half of the North 2/3 of the Northwest
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 118, Range 22,
said Hennepin County. The centerline of said strip of land is described as
follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Northwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing of South 89 degrees 41
minutes 45 seconds East, along the North line of said Northwest Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter, a distance of 900.00 feet; thence South 16
degrees 32 minutes 30 seconds East a distance of 456.88 feet to the
North line of said South half of the North 2/3 of the Northwest Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter and the point of beginning of the centerline to
be described; thence continuing South 16 degrees 32 minutes 30 seconds
East a distance of 150.51 feet; thence South 5 degrees 09 minutes 30
seconds East a distance of 294.60 feet to the South line of said South
half of the North 2/3 of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter
and there terminating.
The side lines of said 20.00 foot strip of land shall be prolonged or
shortened to terminate on said South line and said North line.
A strip of land 20.00 feet in width over and across that part of Outlot B,
Northwest Business Campus, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin
County, Minnesota being in the North 1/3 of the Northwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 118, Range 22, said Hennepin
. County. The centerline of said strip of land is described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Northwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing of South 89 degrees 41
minutes 45 seconds East, along the North line of said Northwest Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter, a distance of 900.00 feet; thence South 16
degrees 32 minutes 30 seconds East a distance of 456.88 feet to the
South line of said North 1/3 of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter and the point of beginning of the centerline to be described;
thence North 16 degrees 32 minutes 30 seconds West, along the last
described course, a distance of 45.17 feet to the Southeasterly right-
of-way line of Northwest Boulevard as delineated and dedicated in said
Northwest Business Campus and there terminating.
The side line of said 20.00 foot strip of land shall be prolonged or
shortened to terminate on said Southeasterly right-of-way line of Northwest
boulevard and said South line.
A drainage easement for ponding purposes over, under, and across Outlot B,
as delineated and dedicated in Northwest Business Campus, according to the
recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereo-, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, iter and Ci& ,
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
