HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-484CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of August , 1989. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-484 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON STREET LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS - WESTMINSTER ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted August 7, 1989, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with respect to the improvement of Westminster Addition; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes installation of ornamental residential street lights; and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Cc,incil on August 21, 1989. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street lighting in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,991 per year. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 11th day of September, 1989, in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Conneilnipmh- i , and upon vote ceing taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: —Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker, , Zitnr and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
