HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-481CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, e _regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of August y, 1989. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider, Co_Ia.-ilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk , The following members were absent: None Councilmembgr Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-481 RECEIVING PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALL FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS STREET AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS ON 9TH AVENUE AND RANCHVIEW LANE CITY PROJECT NO. 947 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted July 24, 1989, a report has been prepared by Bonestrr-3, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. with respect to the improvement to 9th Avenue from Ranchview Lane east to Shenandoah Lane and also Ranchview Lane from 9th Avenue to 7th Avenue; and WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the installation of 32 foot streets with curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on August 21, 1989. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $118,700 (estimated total assessed cost is $83,472 due to only "local" portion of storm sewer benefit). 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 25th day of September, 1989 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker,--, Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
