Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of
August , 1989. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk ,
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89-480
RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
STREET AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS ON MINNESOTA LANE
CITY PROJECT NO. 944
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted July 10, 1989 a
report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates with
respect to the improvement to Minnesota Lane from 9th Avenue to 300 feet north
of 9th Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the installation a 32 foot wide
street with curb and gutter and storm sewer, an eight foot wide trail and all
necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on August 21, 1989.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in
accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited
property for all or a portion of the coat of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to
429.111 (Laps 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of $38,645.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement
on the 25th day of September, 1989 in the Council Chambers
of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at
7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published
notice of Kcuch hearing and improvements as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor_ Schneider_ Councilmembers Vasilinu_ Ri_ kms_,
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
