Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rf•Aular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of
Auaust , 1989. The following members were present: ,
.Javor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following siembers were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89- 456
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - WESTMINISTER ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the residents in the Westminister
Addition requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Westminister
Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street
lighting, filed with the City Council on August 7, 1989 is hereby
declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of
property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance
to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is
instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed
advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the
proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best
be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement
and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
enuncilmp r Rirkpr , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, ,
Zitur and Sick
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
