HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-449CITY OF PLYMOUTH 1W Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of August 1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vacilinr, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk ' The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89- 449 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROL SYSTEM AT C.S.A.H. 6 AND FERNBROOK LANE CITY PROJECT NO. 250 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Traffic Signal Control System at C.S.A.H. 6 and Fernbrook Lane bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Ridgedale Electric, Inc. Eagan -McKay Electric Cont., Inc. Collins Electric Company C.S.I. Electric, Inc. $ 53,056.00 54,957.00 59,540.00 61,206.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Ridgedale Electric, Inc. of Long Lake, Mn. is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Ridgedale electric, Inc. in the name of the City of Plymouth for the Traffic Signal Control System at C.S.A.H. 6 and Fernbrook Lane according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the low bid of $53,056.00. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Srhnpidpr, Calinrilmemhpra ni1'n..- Rj.1rnrx_74C. r znrj Sick r The following voted against or. abstained: Nnnp Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
