HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-437CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of tie City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 24th day of July , 1989. The following members were present: Schneider, Sisk, Zitur, Vasiliou, Ricker The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 89-437 PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX LEVIES FOR TAXES PAYABLE IN 1990 WHEREAS, the City Council has preliminary approved the operating budgets for the period commencing January 1, 1990 and certain monies to finance said budgets are preliminary required to be raised from taxes on taxable property in the City of Plymouth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the following sums of money be raised by tax on taxable property in the City of Plymouth for the year 1990 as set out in the preliminary approved 1990 City budgets are hereby proposed to be levied: General Purpose: General Fund $6,607,800 Infrastructure 8699400 Tort Liability 176,800 Forestry 233,700 Total General Purpose $7,887,700 Special Levies: City Special Assessment $ 330,000 Housing and Redevelopment Authority 25,000 General Obligation Debt 641,500 Total Special Levies 996,500 Total All Levies $8,884,200 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said proposed tax levy be certified to the County Finance Director of Hennepin County on or before August 1, 1989. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by nuncilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Schneider, Sisk, Zitur, Vasiliou, Ricker The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
