HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-397CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of July , .1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou , Ric,.er, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-397 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID MOONEY LAKE AREA - SANITARY SEWER CITY PROJECT NO. 834 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of Mooney Lake Area - Sanitary Sewer, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Brown & Cris $ 85,694.20 0. & P. Contracting 81,382.00 HRS Construction 76,971.00 G. A L. Contracting 74,238.40 Nodland Construction 72,652.00 Ceca Utilities 65,100.00 Volk Sewer b Water 63,024.80 Albrecht Exc. 61,908.20 Channel Const. 56,406.00 B & D Underground 55,911.00 F. F. Jedlicki 50,610.00 WHEREAS, it appears that F. F. Jedlicki, Inc. of Eden Prairie, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with F. F. Jedlicki, Inc. of Eden Prairie, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for the construction of Mooney Lake Area - Sanitary Sewer, according to the plana and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the low bid of $50,610. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmpmher 7irur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Srhnpid- - rnunri1rrRmbPrq Vas linn, Rirkpr, Zittir and Sick , The following voted against or abstained: Nnnp Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
