Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetin of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 1�th day
of July , 19 89 The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 89-374
APPROVING AMENDED SITE PLAN AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR GARLOCK EQUIPMENT

WHEREAS, Garlock Equipment has requested approval of an amended Site Plan and
Conditional Use Permit for outdoor storage to be located at 2601 Niagara Lane;

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called
Public Hearing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it hereby does approve the request for Garlock
Equipment for an amended Site Plan and Conditional Use Permit, subject to the
following conditions:
1. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum.
2. Submission of required financial guarantee and Site Performance Agreement
for completion of site improvements.
3. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and
approvals per ordinance provisions.
4. An 8-1/2 x 11 inch "As Built" Fire Protection Plan shall be submitted
prior to the release or reduction of any site improvement bonds per City
policy.
5. The Conditional Use Permit is subject to all applicable codes, ordinances
and regulations, and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation.
6. The screening fence shall be of not less than ninety (90) percent opacity
and shall have upright posts 6" x 6" at least every 10 foot on center and
shall be kept in a neat appearance.
7. On the west and south sides of the outside storage area, the five foot
screening fence shall be constructed on top of a continuous three foot
berm.

8. The fire lane passing around the west side of the building through the
storage area shall not be obstructed by stored equipment or materials.
9. Provision of fire lane gates at each end of the storage area enclosure.
10. Prohibition of outside storage of trash containers and steel scrap
containers. Trash storage shall be within the building or in "an
accessory enclosure complete with roof and walls of the same exterior
finish as the main structure," as required by City Ordinance.
11. This Conditional Use Permit shall be renewed on an annual basis.
12. This Conditional Use Perr,it may be revoked if it is found that the outdoor
storage area is necessary for offstreet parking to serve this site.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou,
Ricker tiitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
